November 27, 2005- New York 7's hosted by the New York Rugby Club. The New York 7's is the oldest rugby tournament in the US and attracts clubs from all over the world. Some of the best players in the world played in this tournament. The 47th annual New York 7's tournament was played on Saturday only at Randall Island ,NY. Lineout Video has travelled to the New York 7's annually since 1993 and currently contains a  rugby archive of the tournament from 2000 to present.

2005 Tournament recap:

Old Blue wins over New Haven in the mens premier to cap off a great year in 7's rugby. Old Blue won the National 7's championship over OMBAC in Pittsburgh in August. NY women win the womens club over TMR Yang(Mount Royal). The NY women on the third try in three years won over TMR. TMR had won the last two years over NY in the Championship. The two clubs have been in the finals the last three consecutive years. University of New Hampshire took the mens collegiant championship over Queens. Many of the NY 7's matches including the finals were shown by Lineout Video at the social party at Connolly's. Lineout Video would like to thank the NY rugby club men and women and Connolly's for all the support they have shown. All of the matches are archive matches and are available for puchase.
